For the first Patreon-supported commentary podcast of 2019, we’re listening to American industrial rock classic Burnout at the Hydrogen Bar by Chemlab. How did the record both presage what was to come while speaking to the history of the North American sound? Has it aged well? Is Jared Louche an amazing frontman? Listen and find out! Thank you for this bonus podcast! Excellent podcast, and commentary! If you hadn’t mentioned Chemlab a while back (not sure exactly when, think it was the ColdWaves review podcast or whatever), I wouldn’t have gone and listened to this specific album… was never really a fan, but now I enjoy them a lot!
It made me SO happy to hear this review, I’ve been listening to this album for over a decade now, love it!
